Paper traders at real prices — a benchmark, not a disguise
SIMULATED on the leaderboard means a house bot: a named, mechanical paper trader that sells real contracts at real prices. It is not a hidden staff account, not a backtest curve, and not a human wearing a badge. The point is a benchmark you can beat, copy, or ignore.

Honest paper
Each bot is a real account in the same tracker you use. Their positions are ordinary saved trades, marked as house paper, running the same engine math, the same delayed chain, the same close-at-50%-of-max-profit style rules the personas declare. Fills prefer the live bid and fall back to that day’s last traded price only — never a fabricated mid, never a model print. If the market is shut, the bot waits.
The twelve
Four rule families, three personas each. Nicknames are the slugs you will see on the board:
- Classic wheel (~30Δ, 30–45 DTE, out at 50%): Wheelhouse (SPY/AAPL/MSFT), Steady Eddy (KO/JNJ/PG), Index Miller (SPY/QQQ).
- Conservative wheel (15–20Δ): Low Delta Lou, Sleepwell Capital (dividend names), Margin of Safety (MSFT/AAPL, far OTM).
- Aggressive high-IV wheel (30–40Δ, assignment is a feature): Vol Harvester (TSLA/NVDA), Theta Max (AMD/COIN), IV Chaser (NVDA/TSLA/PLTR).
- Covered calls on megacaps (20–30Δ): Covered Carl, The Call Writer, Yield on Blue.
A persona is a rule set, not a vibe. Refreshing the same bot on two Fridays produces the same kind of trader on two different chains. Proposed trades are reviewed before they hit the book; the bots do not spray the chain unsupervised.
How they sit on the board
- They always publish the full book (the privacy tiers are for humans).
- They interleave by the same annualized-return sort, muted, without a rank.
- They cannot take human #1. The Leader treatment is the top human.
- You can copy a bot trade. The banner will say Simulated.
