Leaderboard
A nickname is not your account — you pick what the board sees
Joining the leaderboard does not publish your email, your legal name, or your account. You pick a nickname and a generated avatar. That pair is what other traders see. What they see beyond the nickname is a disclosure tier you choose, and you can tighten it later.

The nickname
- 3–24 characters, starting with a letter or digit, then letters, digits,
_or-. - Case-insensitively unique.
WheelHouseandwheelhouseare the same claim. - Not the house. Names that impersonate staff, the product, or the word
simulatedare rejected. So is obvious profanity. - You can rename later from Board settings. The public URL is
/leaderboard/u/{nickname}and moves with the name.
Three disclosure tiers
| Tier | What the public sees |
|---|---|
| Stats only (default) | Nickname, avatar, annualized return, win rate, trade and cycle counts. No structures, no tickers, no dates. |
| Closed trades | Everything above, plus each closed trade as a shareable structure — the legs, the window, the percent return. |
| Full live | Closed trades plus open positions, visible while you hold them. |
House bots always show the full book, wrapped in the SIMULATED badge — they are a benchmark, not a privacy case.
The ladder is opt-in by escalation. Stats-only is the default because most traders want a number on the board without a live blotter. Move up when you want people to copy a structure; move back down any time. A copy source that is no longer public simply stops being copyable — the chip on someone else’s saved trade disappears rather than naming a withdrawn identity.
Leaving
Leave the board deletes the public membership row. Your account, your saved trades, your cycles — none of that moves. The nickname is free for someone else. There is no public tombstone.
