Assignment is a fill, not a dead strategy
When a short put is assigned, OptionTracker books 100 shares at the strike, subtracts the credit from the basis, and leaves the cycle open for the covered calls that follow. A visualizer that marks a saved structure is doing a different job. Both are real; only one keeps the wheel as one object.

Expired short premium is recorded at zero, not a penny close. The history still says expired. Cost basis, win rate and the next roll stay attached to the event that happened.
